DeStefano Secretary Sal is a graduate of Nassau Community College (A.A.), the State University of New York at Binghamton (B.A.), New York University Graduate School of Business Administration (M.B.A.), and St. John’s University School of Law (J.D.). After working three years as an operations officer for Chemical Bank, he was hired as the Office Services Manager for the Rockefeller Foundation. In 1986, after passing the New York and New Jersey Bar exams, Sal obtained a position as a real estate title examiner for Colonial Title and Abstract Service, Inc. He became a principal owner of the agency in 1991, and currently serves the firm as a title officer and in-house counsel. Sal resides with his wife, Doreen, and their three children in Succasunna, New Jersey. Sal’s favorite hobby is fiction writing. His first novel, THE METHUSELAH GENE, was published in 2000 by Trans-Atlantic Publications, Inc., a small publisher based in Philadelphia, PA. Sal also enjoys motorcycle riding, and in warm weather, sometimes commutes to work on his 450cc Suzuki, complete with briefcase strapped to the sissy bar. A collector of Depression-era glassware and art deco ornaments, he also enjoys movies, hikes with his family, time on the beach, and cruising the waters of Barnegat Bay. 973-267-4600 x17 sdestefano@colonial-title.com   Tom Grant Account Representative Tom joined the Colonial Title team in August of 1985. Tom comes to us with a background in sales and marketing. He is a liaison between our valued clients and our back office, making sure that all of our clients expectations are met and exceeded. Tom was born and raised down the Jersey Shore. He still hase one foot in the sand. He and his wife Rosemary have been married since 1989. They have two children, Haley and Michael.
